I mean of course being in the GTA you cannot have heard of the pro guitar shop that’s been there for over 30 years.  But it took me all this time to get to the store and man I wish I had checked it out earlier.  If you are a guitar geek of any kind, I mean acoustic, electric, banjo, dobro, ukulele, classical, it’s the place to check out.  If you are looking for a handmade acoustic and just don’t know where to start I suggest you start their.  As you can read in my experiences in my blog, you don’t always get what you want or expect on eBay.

The repair shop technician I talked to worked under the great Jean Larrivee of  Larrivee guitars and pointed out many things about my new guitar with the huge crack in it.  Other than the obvious that is.  I believe that if you are looking for something special in an acoustic guitar be it a specific sound, feel, look or a combination thereof, like a larrivee guitars you can’t go wrong starting at the 12th fret, I just wish I had checked it out earlier myself.
